In May of 2011, I graduated from Seton Hall University with my Bachelor's in Liberal Studies; minors in Philosophy and Africana Studies. I am very interested in aiding students of higher educational degree, certificate or trade programs. I have always had a passion for counseling/mental health and advising, so I immediately pursued my Master's in Counseling at Montclair State University. Originally, I concentrated in Higher Education, but switched to what is now Clinical Mental Health for the experience and knowledge. Upon graduating with my M.A. in Counseling May of 2015, I will continue on and become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and eventually begin the application process for a PhD program in Counselor Education.
I graduated in 2003 from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's of Arts in Marketing & Communication. I am currently attending Montclair State University where I am pursuing my Masters Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Student Personnel Services. I will be graduating in May of 2014 and plan on continuing with my 10 year career in Higher Education.
I graduated from Montclair State University in 2005 with a B.A. in English. I will be completing my M.A. in Counseling in May 2014. Currently, I am a member of the Chi Sigma Mu counseling honor society chapter at MSU. I have worked at the Home News Tribune and Children’s Home Society of New Jersey. Additionally, I am an adjunct instructor at Middlesex County College. It was during my teaching experience that I decided to pursue counseling but with a focus on higher education.
I am a second-year graduate student in the Higher Education Counseling program at Montclair State University. Prior to becoming a graduate student, I received my B.A. in Psychology from Montclair State. Aside from being a full time graduate assistant, and a mediator in the Mediation Resource Center, I am also the Vice Chair of the Graduate Student Organization. Some of my interests include student athletes, leadership and diversity issues. I look forward to developing a beneficial website for student athletes to consider different potential career options.
